Recently, we conducted a poll on X to ask you which Bitcoin Lightning wallet you use the most. The goal was to better understand our audience in order to support them in using Bringin: the safest and simplest app to buy and sell Bitcoin.
Unsurprisingly, Phoenix Wallet came in first, far ahead of its competitors with nearly 43%. So, we decided to create this step-by-step tutorial to guide you on how to use Bringin.
What is Phoenix Wallet?
Phoenix Wallet is a Bitcoin wallet that allows you to manage your funds directly, without needing a third party to hold them for you. It is specifically designed for easy and instant Bitcoin transactions using the Lightning Network, which makes payments faster and cheaper than traditional Bitcoin transactions.
Phoenix Wallet is developed by ACINQ, and it automatically manages channels and helps users manage their Bitcoin easily. This means you don't have to worry about managing complicated aspects of Bitcoin and Lightning transactions like UTXO consolidation, channel creation or maintenance.
Furthermore, Phoenix Wallet can be used with Bringin, a feature that makes it even easier to carry out Bitcoin transactions, whether it’s for buying something in Euro with our virtual Debit Card or converting Bitcoin into euros using a simple Lightning Network transfer.
This guide will walk you through how to deposit and withdraw Bitcoin on the Bringin app using Phoenix Wallet, making the process quick, secure, and accessible.
Before you can deposit or remove Bitcoin, you need to have a Bringin account. If you don't already have one, you can sign up for free. Once you've signed up, log into your account with your email and password, and you'll be taken to your dashboard.
You're now ready to get started!
